Well you will know that the shop is open and we have had a good amount of interest and have signed up a few more for our introductory to beading classes. So we have been thinking up some designs to demonstrate. One design is as the picture below…..what do you think??

Yikes……it is 8am and the shop opens in two hours !!

Well the day has arrived and we are full of nervousness, the weather is ok so hope the shop is bursting at the seams. We have kept an open mind as we are not exactly centre of town but we do have little helpers handing out flyers and telling them to come to the shop.

The Pelican

Well its Monday and just 5 more sleeps and the shop will be open…we just have to finish getting some stock out, give it a tidy up and then just the small matter of pricing everything!!!

We had the local paper down to take a photograph for printing this afternoon for tomorrows edition. Hope we get a lot of interest from the feature and our advert.

There will be classes starting up and we just need to sort out the schedule. This will be available on our site and in our shop.

For those that are not sure where Union Street is in Peterhead, just walk straight down Broad Street and carry on down as though you were going to the Fishermans Mission, The Pelican Bead Store is on your right, you really can’t miss it.

Oh and once our new sign is up on Wednesday (hopefully) you really won’t be able to miss it.

Morning,

Well its all go here at Pelican Towers as we get our shop ready for opening on the 28th of June. We have most of the fixtures in and a new carpet, just need to fill up the shop now with stock !! We should be getting our new stock next week and it is all getting exciting!!

This will be the first dedicated bead store in Peterhead and will also be selling handmade jewellery as well as bridal jewellery. There will also be classes beginning with an introductory to beading.

Hello again,

Yep we get the keys to our new store on the 2nd of June……we can’t wait. The shop will be open on the 28th of June. The address is 1 Union Street in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

This will be the first bead store up our way other than Bead Crazy in Aberdeen.

Hi, we couldn’t keep this to ourselves for much longer……we have signed and returned the documents for a lease for premises here in Peterhead. We will reveal the address when we have received confirmation.

The plan is to use the store to help with our mail order side of things but use the shop front to sell jewellery making supplies from. It will only be open on certain days and classes may be held from time to time as well.

We can’t wait, so if you are local subscribe to this blog and you will learn of our opening day and any opening day offers that we may have.

Well for a change the sun is shining, it is nice and fresh outside and it just feels great it is Sunday.

I have been busy updating the website to new and fresh look (yet again some may say!!!) to be honest we really needed to get a proper shopping cart with stock control. Our paypal shopping cart did the job but we needed something a bit more. It is not quite up and runnning yet, didn’t realise how much stock we had !!!!

Once it is we will be sending emails to those that are on our email list, if you wish to join the list let us know and we will add you. Look out for the sign up box on the site.
